Careers Education

Preparing your child for the real world

Whether your child will be a doctor or a designer, an engineer or a web developer, at Haverstock School we have an unrivalled career focus to help them on their way.

We know your child can succeed. So from day one, life at Haverstock School is not only about academic study, it’s also about helping your child build a great future for them self. We offer the best career programme in Camden - rivalling the very best schools nationwide.

With a network of over 100 businesses from a wide range of industries and sectors, our well-planned programme of careers activities is carefully designed to meet the needs of each individual student, at every step of their school life. In the early years, talks and events on the world of work will inspire your child to discover their passions. As a young teenager, we’ll encourage them to spread their wings and try new things, ready to plan the subjects they’ll need for their next step. And we’ll teach them the life skills to succeed.

When your child moves into Sixth Form, they can apply to join our Haverstock Career Network - part of the UK-wide Career Ready programme - with a guaranteed paid internship, 1:1 mentor and career-specific training. We’ll even give them a free suit for interviews, courtesy of our partner ASOS!

If you want to give your child the very best preparation for the world of work, there’s no better school in Camden.
