We were delighted to welcome Haverstock students into school this morning to celebrate their achievements in their GCSE and Level 1 and 2 BTEC exams, and in many cases, enrol them in Haverstock’s Sixth Form. With our broad and inclusive offer of Level 1 and Level 2 courses, and the Business T Level alongside A Levels at Level 3, we have courses to suit students at all levels of prior attainment and with a wide range of interests and ambitions - and it was great to see the courses filling up quickly over the course of the morning.

It was wonderful to see some of our students achieving impressive sets of grades. Top performers included Tyler Varda, who was celebrating achieving three top grade 9s in his English Language, Maths and Computing GCSEs, along with 8s in English Literature, Physics, Economics, Geography and Further Maths. Tyler, who is staying on at Haverstock Sixth Form, said: “I’m pleased - it went well. I have felt very well supported during my time here at Haverstock as the teachers really understand me. I’m going to study Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics A-levels at the sixth form here.”

Fellow student Rayana Abdisalam gained three 9s, three 8s, two 7s and one 6 in her GCSEs. Rayana plans to stay on at Haverstock Sixth Form for her chosen A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. She said she was "very proud and excited about what the future holds".

Joe Edwards, Interim Head of School at Haverstock, said: “Congratulations to Haverstock’s Year 11 students who have worked incredibly hard and been so well supported by our staff. It’s so pleasing and exciting to see that so many students are keen to return to Haverstock for their sixth form studies, and a testament to the relationships they have built with staff and their fellow students. We are very proud that so many Haverstock students, having spent Years 7-11 with us, trust us to continue to support them on their journeys as they take the next steps.”
