Haverstock A Level Students Score Top Grades Again!

Posted on: 15th Aug 2024

Huge congratulations go to our Haverstock A Level students, who are celebrating a fantastic set of results today.

Haverstock School’s Sixth Form has been on a remarkable transformation since 2019. Heavily oversubscribed since then, this year’s results demonstrate the continued progress being made by Haverstock School’s Sixth Form and their students.

Haverstock is hugely proud of the class of 2024, with over 30% gaining places at the elite Russell Group universities, up from 8% in 2019 and 16% of all grades awarded A*-A, up from 1% in 2019, 38% A*-B, up from 13% five years ago when A Levels were last completed without pandemic adjustments.

“Following a return to pre-pandemic expectations, our Year 13 students have thrived due to their hard work and with fantastic support from the Haverstock Sixth Form Team and other teaching staff at the school. We could not be prouder of what this cohort has achieved.”

– Katie Metselaar, Head of School

Of particular note are the achievements of Imtiaz Rahman who will go on to study Chemistry at Oxford on a full scholarship after achieving A*A*A*A; Anushka Sinha achieving A*A*A*AB, Imran Ahmed who gained a place at Queen Mary’s to study Law after achieving A*AA. Further to these phenomenal achievements, many more Haverstock students have achieved wonderful results and go on to exciting new futures, including Helen Enayatullah who will study Medicine at King’s having achieved AAAA, Michael Rukmin who will study Computer Science at Queen Mary’s after achieving AAA, and Lillie Allen who will study Psychology at Birmingham after achieving AAA.

Congratulations to all our class of 2024 who have worked so hard and already achieved so much! We wish them all the very best success in their future steps.

“We’re so proud to be celebrating the achievements of our incredible Year 13 leavers today. The entire team at Haverstock has worked tirelessly to ensure that our Sixth Form is categorically a place where every student can thrive and reach the most ambitious destination for them.”

– Sam Marcus, Head of Haverstock Sixth Form
